Hostel Wall Art – Tribe Stays, Mumbai

Tribe Stays is a one-stop destination in Pune with world class amenities as a hostel. In 2019, we were approached with a fun but challenging project to paint their hostel wall art. The surface was the façade of the Tribe Stays at Vile Parle which measured about 18 feet in height and 15 feet in length.
A graphic designer by profession, Radnyee had joined the Wicked Broz community in 2019 itself during Ladies First. A girl to paint a girls hostel. She was the perfect choice for this job. She banded together a team of experienced graffiti artists (Alchemy, Smach and Carter) to help her out with the actual painting, and what followed was pure joy.
The bamboo scaffold would’ve scared other artists. But not Radnyee, she soldiered on and finished the project within a week. The bright colors and vector styled shapes makes the building façade easily noticeable from a distance and is now a sure shot selfie spot for passerby’s.
Hostel Wall Art Does Vibe Matching
If you visit a hostel in Pushkar or if you visit a hostel in Tosh, you will find the hostel wall full of hippie artwork. If you visit professional hostels like the one that Tribe Stays has, they have a slightly more sober vibe with inspiration for work and play.
