The Jabalpur Street Art Festival organized by the Jabalpur Smart City (17 – 25 Nov) in 2019.More than 200 artists from across the country created a riot of colors in the third largest city in Madhya Pradesh.Wicked Broz was invited by the commissioner Mr. Chandramauli Shukla to curate and do select artworks.
We had Afzan Pirzade travel from Mumbai and create two fine pieces in around the Smart City Office. One of them was a five story tall innocent portrait that had each of us wonder about how did he manage to finish it in a day.
Innocence or for that matter any deep emotion is best brought out in monochrome.
We also had Rikis DSantander, the Chilean street artist arrive here and do a wall at the ISBT that reflected his love for travel and his favorite animal – the elephant.
