Amaro Abreu And His Graffiti Story

Amaro Abreu is an amazing Brazilian graffiti artist. I had the opportunity to meet him at IIT, Powai for the Techfest 2018. He painted the main IIT wall along with graffiti artists Rikis, Lobster, NME and Mooz.

In 2017, when we launched the 2nd version of the Wicked Broz website, we also included a small blog where we started putting up some of the stories of our adventures. Since, then the stories have spread far and wide and the 2019 version of the magazine was our first attempt to compile all of our commercial and community work into a magnus opus of sorts. An attempt to answer the difficult question of Who are the Wicked Broz?

Every month some story or the other about a collaboration facilitated through our 500 artist strong community is put up on the street art magazine online and the PDF document for download is an effort to curate the best of them at the end of the year. 

Most of the artists in our community are beginners in the street art scene and providing a platform to get their voice heard is an important part of our promise to them.

We feature stories of collaborations, interviews of artists who interact with our community and opinion pieces by our contributors on various aspects of this beautiful medium.
